What is Distributive Operations?

Learning to operate lifting machinery may be part of the course. You will need to learn about the correct storage of all types of materials including those that are potentially dangerous. You will need to be organised and have good recording skills so that you know where to find consignments you are storing. Often records are computerised and you will need to develop good IT skills.
What will I need to wear?
While on placement overalls, safety boots and hard hats may be required for health and safety reasons. Often fluorescent jackets and waistcoats are work in warehouses.
