Charging Policy

Induction Period
Partner schools/colleges will be charged for learners' attendance during the calendared induction period by the day.

Partner schools/colleges will be charged for learners' attendance during the calendared induction period by the day if the learner joins the programme late or leaves early to follow other options. If, through agreement, a place is reserved for a learner that is unable to attend the provider may charge for the whole period.

Period 1 (until the end of the Autumn Term)
Partner schools/colleges will be charged for the whole calendared period for each learner that starts this period regardless of the number of days attended.

• During this period providers may charge for registration with awarding body, Health and Safety equipment and any other catalogued items.

Period 2 (Spring Term)
Partner schools/colleges will be charged for the whole calendared period for each learner that starts this period regardless of the number of days attended.

Period 3 (Summer Term)
Partner schools/colleges will be charged for the whole calendared period for each learner that starts this period regardless of the number of days attended.

• It is anticipated that schools/colleges may be charged for certification during this period.

Payment for any period will not be released until all required reports have been completed and received by partner schools.

Early completion of qualification
If a learner completes the target qualification early and is moved onto additional qualifications or the next level the school/college may be charged for additional registration costs when this occurs.

• Possible extra costs must be listed in the TVC catalogue so that budgets may be drawn up to account for this.

• Learners who continue into the next year to complete additional or higher qualifications will not be charged twice for registration.

If a learner completes early and leaves the course the school/college will charged for the days attended during the last term plus any catalogued costs incurred.

Late recruits
When a learner joins a course a part of the way through a term. The school/college will be charged for the number of days left in that period (between the learner's start and the end of that period, plus; registration, health and safety equipment and any other catalogued items
