Choosing the right course FOR YOU is the most important step towards success and a rewarding career.
There are many ways of learning and different paths to a great career. The BEST path is the one that is RIGHT for you. If you think that the right course is not provided by the TVC, go back to your careers advisor at school/community college or Connexions and get more advice.

It is a good idea to start working on a career plan. think about where do you want to go and try to find out what ways are there to get there?
TVC Programmes are only available to full time students of TVC partner schools and colleges. They must be aged between 14 and 19 when they begin the course. If you are not attending a partner school or community college please talk to your Connexions advisor.
Key Stage 4 students (Years 10 and 11) will be recommended by their Head of Year or TVC Co-ordinator. Not all students in Key Stage 4 will be eligible but interested students should talk to their Head of Year or their tutor at KS4 Options Evenings.
Students who are 16 or over must apply to the sixth form of a TVC school or college. On the application form choose a TVC course that interests you. You will be invited for interview and this will give you a chance to talk about the TVC courses and get up-to-date advice. It can be arranged for you to visit courses that interest you.
The INSPIRE event takes place in the Autumn each year at Plymouth University. This will allow you to meet the Training Providers and see a wide range of career opportunities. Your school will organise a visit but watch out for publicity.
