TVCRESULTS AND DESTINATIONS

It is our policy to be an open and transparent organisation. We believe that this is the best way to engender trust and ensure full participation from all our partners. In this context we are sharing our information and putting our achievements into the public domain.

The Achievement of TVC learners has improved since the implementation of our Raising Achievemnt Strategy in 2003. This included 3 strands:

• Improving advice and guidance to ensure learners were recruited to the right courses for them. (no more try this and see if you like it!)
• Improve the communication between providers and home schools to support learners effectively. (frequent, current reporting)
• Expect success. (You are interested in the subject, its at the right level for you, we expect you to pass)

The strategy raised in 2004 with achievement to 64% of all students reaching their learning aim. In 2007 the introduction of the i-Plymouth online monitoring made further improvements to the provider/home school communication posible and achievement of full learning aims reached 79%.
